Ingredients (Serves 1)

  • All-purpose flour (maida) – 4 tbsp

  • Cocoa powder – 1½ tbsp

  • Sugar – 2½ tbsp (adjust to taste)

  • Baking powder – ¼ tsp

  • Baking soda – a pinch

  • Milk – 3 tbsp

  • Oil – 2 tbsp

  • Vanilla essence – ¼ tsp (optional)

  • Choco chips or nuts – optional


 How to Make Eggless Chocolate Mug Cake (Without Oven)

  1. In a microwave-safe or steel mug, add maida, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, and baking soda. Mix well to remove lumps.

  2. Add milk and oil to the dry ingredients. Mix until you get a smooth batter without lumps.

  3. Add vanilla essence and choco chips if using.

  4. Preheat a deep pan or kadai on low flame with a stand inside for 5 minutes.

  5. Place the mug on the stand, cover with lid, and cook on low flame for 12–15 minutes.

  6. Check with a toothpick. If it comes out clean, the cake is ready.

  7. Remove carefully and allow it to cool for 2 minutes before serving.
