Whether you’re looking for a pre-workout snack, a festive treat, or a guilt-free indulgence, these ladoos are a perfect choice. Dry Fruit Ladoos are packed with essential nutrients, including healthy fats, fiber, vitamins, and minerals. Unlike store-bought snacks loaded with refined sugar and preservatives, these ladoos are naturally sweetened with dates and figs, providing long-lasting energy without blood sugar spikes.
Ingredients:
1 cup dates (seedless and chopped)
1/2 cup figs (anjeer)
1/4 cup almonds
1/4 cup cashews
1/4 cup walnuts
2 tbsp flaxseeds
2 tbsp sesame seeds
1 tbsp chia seeds
1 tbsp sunflower seeds (optional)
1/2 tsp cardamom powder
1 tbsp ghee (for binding and flavor)
Dry Roast the Nuts and Seeds – In a pan, dry roast almonds, cashews, walnuts, flaxseeds, sesame seeds, chia seeds, and sunflower seeds for 3-4 minutes on low heat until aromatic. Let them cool.
Blend the Dry Fruits – In a food processor or mixer, add chopped dates and figs. Blend them into a sticky paste.
Grind the Nuts and Seeds – Pulse the roasted nuts and seeds into a coarse powder.
Mix Everything Together – In a mixing bowl, combine the nut-seed powder, date-fig paste, cardamom powder, and ghee (if using) or you can bind them in warm water. Knead well to form a sticky dough.
Shape into Ladoos – Take small portions of the mixture and roll them into bite-sized ladoos.
Store & Enjoy – Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks or in the refrigerator for a month.
Since dry fruit ladoos are high in natural sugars and healthy fats, moderation is key.
